Seal Updates!

Thank you to all finders and rescuers for their efforts.

The Grey Seal season is upon us. The Irish Seal Sanctuary and Dingle Wildlife and Seal Sanctuary remain the only rescue wildlife services to respond to calls for marine wildlife found in distress around Irelands coast. We provide a service to Garda, NPWS, Coastguard and ISPCA, as well as beach users around Ireland.
Thank you to all our volunteers without whom the ISS could not operate! To the animal handlers, guides, fundraisers, schools, children and a big thank you also to the public who visited and who came back again and again throughout the seasons! We loved having you!
We would also like to thank all those who helped thougout the summer! Thank you to the Board of Directors for all their input over what has been a difficult year. A big thankyou to Dingle Wildlife and Seal Sanctuary who are rehabilitatiing all seals since the eviction of the sanctuary in Courtown, County Wexford. Who continue to assist us until we can relocate the charity to a permanent location where we can continue our work.
